DutiesWork in partnership with Canadian Cancer Society staff and the Relay For Life committee provide leadership, support, and guidance in planning and executing the Durham Relay for Life event * be an ambassador and spokesperson for the Canadian Cancer Society and Relay for Life at team rallies, community events, and on event day * provide weekly updates to committee members and staff partners * promote online individual and team registrations, fundraising and community sponsorships, and volunteer participation for event success * monitor and evaluate event planning process, ensure timelines are achieved on schedule * work with staff partner for the post-event wrap up and event evaluation process * adhere to the Relay For Life Committee Mandate and to all Canadian Cancer Society policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
