Description (Service) Seniors Snow Removal Program clearing of walkway from door to driveway, clearing of walking path to street (not driveway) and clearing of sidewalk on boulevard  
 
Youth/Seniors Snow Removal Program provides seniors with the name of a student in the same area * volunteers are high school students fulfilling 40 hours of community service
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Pickering
Eligibility Seniors snow clearing service available to residents over 65, who do not have anyone under 65 living with them and residents with a “permanent physical or cognitive limitation which prohibits clearing snow, providing medical certification at the time of registration
Application Accept applications by mail * application forms available online * can accommodate 440 approved applicants * new computer lottery system (eligible applications will be approved in the order that they are drawn) * residents with proof of permanent disability will be given priority
